#7: A Changing Climate
There’s no denying that weather patterns are changing. Temperatures are rising all over the globe. It’s not great. With this widespread change in climate come some huge ramifications. In the future, some areas might not even get snow during the winter. Even if snow is the norm in certain areas, that won’t always be the case.
Overall, the Northern Hemisphere is getting less snow than in previous decades and centuries. Drier winters mean less snow. Less snow means less water to feed crops and keep humans hydrated. We don’t want this trend to exist in the future, but it seems like there’s nothing we can do about it.
