Rain Dove, a 30-year old model, goes by the pronoun “them,” and they’ve once stated,  they “never really cared about pronouns for their own descriptors.” Born as a female, During their childhood, Dove felt ugly and masculine; on the other hand, they weren’t a man either. She realized she had a privileged no one else does: she could be whatever she wanted.

Today, the model feels comfortable either way. They can take photoshoots either as a man or a woman, although they’ve started their modeling career cast for a men’s underwear campaign. This fluidity allows Dove to be what they want, and provides them with vast opportunities and a one-of-a-kind look.
