#2: Japan’s Superiority
Japan’s success during World War II can be largely attributed to its undisputed air superiority, a pivotal factor often cited by scholars. By this point in the conflict, Japan had achieved a formidable advantage in air technology. The Japanese Empire had meticulously developed high-quality aircraft, which they had produced and deployed effectively in combat.
Perhaps even more crucially, Japanese pilots had gained invaluable experience through extensive combat missions. In contrast, their American counterparts were still in the early stages of their combat training and had yet to accumulate the same level of proficiency. This combination of superior aircraft and seasoned aviators gave Japan a formidable edge in the early stages of the war.
