An airline worker revealed that flight attendants and pilots don’t get paid until they’re in the air. Boarding, deplaning, and tarmac delays are all technically off the clock. The airline employees that people love to yell at are literally not getting paid enough to deal with all the stress. Next time you feel the urge to yell at a flight attendant for a delay, just remember this tidbit of information.
