#15: When to Buy a Car
Used car salespeople are often stereotyped as sleazy and sneaky. While that might be true in some cases, there’s a reason behind that stereotype. Car dealerships are built to pressure employees to reach certain monthly quotas and numbers. They’re basically forced into being sleazy salespeople.
You can use this system to your advantage. If you’re in the market for a used car, try shopping around at the end of the month. Employees are often desperate to bump up their sales numbers. This can result in some amazing deals that you otherwise wouldn’t be able to get. It’s all about shopping smarter, not harder.
