You know what they say, if you ain’t got loyalty, you ain’t got nothing. These contracts were like being in a long-term relationship, except your significant other is a massive corporation that owns your soul. But seriously, I can see the benefits of long-term contracts. They provided job security and stability, which is something many actors today probably envy.

Of course, they also had their downsides, like being stuck in a role that you hated or not being able to work on projects that you were passionate about. But hey, it’s all part of the game. Nowadays, actors have a lot more freedom to choose their roles and work with different studios, but it comes at a cost.
